What shall I write

I need an update for today. Hmmmm.

The only thing I can come up with is this. I was thinking what could I send in to PostSecret (linkage removed due to adult content). I thought and thought, then I got hungry. So I went and got my delectable bag of Donettes which by the way is spelled 'Donettes' and ate some. Then I needed a drink of milk. But it was a lot of trouble to open the cupboard (recall I had a sore finger) to reach for a glass and then walk 1.5 feet to the fridge, so I drank straight out of the milk jug. And I'm the mom of the family. I'm supposed to be the example setter. Well, everyone was in bed.

So then I knew I had a perfect postcard to send in to PostSecret. I can take a picture of some milk and then type in anonymous looking courier style lettering, "I drank straight out of the milk jug tonight." "And I'm the mother!"

Thats a scary looking site. You spelled doughnuts wrong again, and you are home schooling your boy ;) Go for a jog/run. Its therapeutic and you can carry your camera in a pouch and stop and take pics too.

I don't drink milk, but I occasionally take a nip straight from the Diet Coke bottle when my hubby isn't looking! :-D One night he walked in the kitchen and caught me red handed. You should have seen me jump!

You are so funny! "If you give a Lil a donette, she's going to ask for a glass of milk. If she asks for a glass of milk, you'll have to say, "it's too far to walk! drink from the jug" If she drinks from the jug, she'll get an idea for PostSecret. If she gets an idea . . . and on and on. " Have you ever read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie? That's what your post reminds me of! I'm so smiling. thank you!

And, about today's post, I don't want my children to grow up too fast, either, but it's really hard to fight the pervasiveness of it. Travelling across the U.S. sounds like a really good idea to me.
