I'm beta now

Hello, hello?

Okay, my links are still here. My posts are still here. My archive is fine. My pictures are still here.

I guess everything is okay.

I found a comment from June 13th that was never uploaded. After I changed to beta it was there.

Cool. I dont know what you said but cool.

The wheat pic I referred to wasnt wheat. It was a slope of a hill with barb wire at the end and some wheat-like growth on the slope. There is blue sky beyond the hill. Would love to see more pics.

It went through. I do moderation so I upload them when I get online.

I know which pic you mean now!

I'm sorry to say I'm a little short on pictures this year. In the boreal forest there's just a bunch of trees. I just didn't capture much this year during our travels. Saw less wildlife than last year. Now we're in the desert which I love but these past months I've had a terrible dry spell - like writer's block of the eye. My confidence has been in a nose dive with all the mediocre pics I took. I expect it to pass. Eventually... I hope...

Secretly, I'm hoping I may get a Canon digital SLR this year. Not that it'll help in and of itself.

This "Beta" business confuses me....
My Yahoo mail just went Beta too....

I thought Beta was the lonely, less popular sister to the VHS.

Wow, how old am I to remember Beta video players???? Yikes.

Christina, it was a breeze and with the new version you can use categories. That's why I really wanted to learn Wordpress or something was because of the categories. You can do it now with Blogspot.

I remember Betamax too. lol! But now when you hear 'beta' it's a general term meaning "a nearly complete prototype of a product." That is, it's good enough for peeps to use but they are still tuning up the software a bit. A good company doesn't put of the beta version unless they're real sure the bugs have been worked out. The beta version at Blogspot is available to a limited number of people to begin with but eventually everyone will have it. I say, it is improved! Purty good.

Heh! Tells you how out of touch I am with the whole Beta thing! Somehow I have missed it! Is it available to those of us who have the "free" version, or do we have to pay to get Beta?
