Summer is slipping away

We have five more days here.

I won't get to practice trying to photograph a star field until the moon is gone. I forgot about that. The moon is so bright that in a long exposure it would outshine everything.

Did you take this picture? It's gorgeous. It looks like a painting or a watercolor. I can imagine it in a children's book about adventure and sleeping under the stars.

Off to reply to your e-mail now! :)

I get to post a comment on your blog!! Hooray!! That picture is absolutely amazing. It just makes me want to sigh. I can almost smell that Wyoming air. Isn't God's creation just the most breathtaking thing?!

Hi Leia. Did I take that picture! Why I oughta. Yes, I took that photo two nights ago. I made that photo. I put the moon there with a brush though. The real moon had to be cloned out because he had no personality. The moonlight falling on the clouds is real though, so that's why the fake moon fit perfectly.

Daisy and Mr. A, I read your comments first thing this morn. It started my day out happy. :) :)

Jen. Finally a comment from you. I've been looking for one! Yes, yes, as you know, the air is fragrant, and the wind soft and sweet with the sound of windblown grasses and crickets chirping. We're gonna miss it mightily.
