I'm very impressed with myself tonight. I made a new soup! It's a Mexican meatball soup called albondigas. Everyone liked it! Well, everyone means two people besides me, but they're important people. Our son, who often is a picky eater, said, "Mamma, I don't like this." And of course, I was ready to chastise him but before I could get a word out, he said, "I don't like it, I love it!" Boy howdy, that kid. I was happy.
I'm not a very good cook but I think I might be a soup person. Now I have two soups in my repertoire that everyone likes: chicken soup and albondigas soup.
